Welcome to KatieFest 2026
On behalf of everyone at Wallingford Rugby
Football Club, it gives me enormous pleasure to
welcome you all to KatieFest 2026.
This event is a very special day in our club
calendar this year. It brings together players,
families, volunteers, and supporters from across
our community to celebrate everything that is
good about rugby Ð friendship, inclusion,
teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.
KatieFest is about far more than rugby. ItÕs about
creating opportunities, celebrating the
achievements of players with additional needs,
and showing what can happen when a
community comes together with generosity and
enthusiasm. The spirit you see here today reßects
the very best values of our club and of the wider
rugby family.
Events like this simply donÕt happen without the
hard work and dedication of a great many
people. I would like to thank the organisers,
volunteers, coaches, players, families, sponsors,
and partner organisations who have helped make
today possible. Your commitment and energy are
what make KatieFest such a success.
To everyone taking part today: play your best,
support each other, and most importantly enjoy
yourselves. And to our visitors and supporters,
thank you for being here and helping to create
such a fantastic atmosphere.
